South Ridge Community Church
Reviews
I have been attending South Ridge for almost four years, it is a wonderful community of believers. The programs offered are amazing for children and youth, providing a Biblical based, fun filled Christ centered learning environment. In addition, the Jr. High youth leadership extends amazing support to this challenging age group. There are small groups in the evenings in addition to during the week, which was important to my schedule as a working mom. I have forged many deep relationships in the years I have attended and continue to grow in my personal relationship with Christ through fellowship with Church friends. All are welcome and accepted here!
Out of curiosity I attended recently. It's a very welcoming atmosphere. People were very social before the service started and a very relaxed feel to it. The visit helped me realize that with my Catholic background, I have to have the Eucharist. But is you want to be in a loving community of people searching for God, this place has a great spirit about it.
Outstanding church. Pastor Nathan is a gifted speaker and teacher, the worship team is great, children’s programs are engaging for the kiddos and even their coffee is fantastic. They have a VBS in the summer, loads of community events, meals on the lawn, etc. If you’re looking for a home church, you should check our SRCC.
SRCC is likened a home. A place where your questions are answered, your faith is developed or nourished, you are loved and supported. The goal is to bring the joy of a personal relationship with the Father to all to insure they will spend eternity with the Father and give peace on earth. The programs are to meet our needs.
After spending almost 25 years in a loving, destiny-filled church, we felt the call to do something different. It was scary. It was difficult to agree to. It was truly one of the most difficult decisions we, as a family have ever made. Finding South Ridge and realizing that it is part of our new adventure has been amazing so far. We are working hard to connect and serve locally and look forward to many years of destiny-filled stuff here too! Kudos to the staff and team at SRCC! As a side note, I see someone felt unwelcome 6 years ago. Come back. Either the issue was addressed or our family is extremely blind to it because we have felt extremely welcome, have made contacts within the church and see welcome hands (and a Pastor at the door greeting people) all the time.
