This is not just a beautifully-curated bookstore, but a community for readers - local and visitors alike. The Frenchtown Bookshop is bright and organized to find classics, trendy books, and new-to-you treasures. Beyond the bookshop, they offer community through a variety of book clubs - for all different types of readers: classics and cocktails, cake and dagger for thrillers and mysteries, short fiction, cookbooks, and more! The owners keep you up to date with their weekly newsletters and they host plenty of author events and a literary fest with local and global authors! Grateful to have found a new local reading community!

Scott and the incredible team at the Frenchtown Bookshop are absolutely amazing! They are super friendly and always ready to help. The selection of books is fantastic, with something for everyone! I had the absolute thrill of attending an author book signing event there, and it was one of the best experiences ever!

Visited this bookstore for an author event and it was great! Very intimate and the back patio area was lovely where they served some light snacks and cider. It was a bit tight, but not uncomfortable. Loved Rachel Harrison / Kerry Cullen discussion.

While strolling through this beautiful Frenchtown, we came across this. This is one of that bookshops that you see in romantic movies. Beautiful house, and given the small space they have, they have a pretty good selection. Independent bookshop, hard to see these days, well kept. They also have a small, beautiful corner, one can go and read. The owner is helpful to give you suggestions and answer the never-ending question. One must stop by here if you are in the town. This whole town is voted for “The best small town for shopping in America is in Central Jersey, says USA TODAY”

Bright, fresh and clean bookshop that every little town should have. Well organized. Great selection. Located right in the middle of town in a beautifully renovated old house. Would recommend to anyone that visits Frenchtown just to walk around.
