America's Grow-A-Row
Reviews
Such a great way for the youngest to feel important and helpful. Even our 2 year old helped out last year and again this year. Even the story of its history is powerful. It teaches kids that they can truly help others no matter how young they are. What a way to get involved and make a difference in your community. The staff is excellent. The young lady we had today got down to the kids levels and talked to them and encouraged them. She them really celebrated with them at the final weigh in
What a great Non Proffit. Grow a Row A well run self sustaining Food Bank. Leveraging Bee's to increase the harvest by more than half. Helping to feed hungry Americans. You can help in many ways. Help to harvest fresh foods. Donate to help plant new crops.
Great experience volunteer to help out harvesting the corns. The group were very passionate about what they do and super dedicated in helping the hunger. Also super cute family bonding and date idea. Will definitely come back another season for different crop/fruits harvesting.
Excellent non profit organization!! You won't be sorry to spend your time here volunteering, you may get dirty and your body make ache but the satisfaction of helping others eat a healthy meal they otherwise would not be able to afford is worth it. I have volunteered with organization in many ways since 2009. I keep going back for more because Chip Paillex and his team are honorable and the team does so many things for the needy such as education, farm camp, cooking classes for youth in Jersey City, free farm markets.
Great opportunity to help others by volunteering to harvest produce that is then supplied to food banks for those in need. Easy to do, and operation is organized and well run.
