Ad Hoc Recording Studio

I trusted Eric to engineer and produce 3 of my albums, and I can wholeheartedly say it was one of the best decisions I've made in my music career. While his technical skills are top drawer, along with his ability to coach the best out of an artist, I want to highlight the superb quality of his vocals, which I used on harmony tracks for many of my songs. The smooth, crystalline character of his vocals are able to blend with many different styles and artists, a statement that is more than supported by the mark Eric has made in the music industry. Eric Troyer and Ad Hoc Recording Studio? You absolutely can't hope for a better recording/creative experience!

Great studio, outstanding talent and craftsmanship. Eric's musical talent is a truly extraordinary gift and his workmanship is at the highest level. He's also a breeze to work with--you don't get a jaw-dropping resume like Eric's without being someone who is a joy to have on a session as well as being organized and reliable. As a singer and vocal arranger, he has an extraordinary ability to blend his voice with the track and come up with parts that support and elevate the song perfectly. And like with all the greats, there's also that unquantifiable extra something that he brings that really 'makes it'--call it heart, spirit, soul... On our project, Eric created backing vocal arrangements and also sang his own harmony parts beautifully. I was especially impressed and grateful that he wanted to understand my song and where I was coming from--the deep dive as they say. The results speak for themselves--my producer and I could not have been happier. Suffice to say, when you have an opportunity to work with a legend like Eric, you take it!

Eric Troyer arranged, recorded and sang lead & backing vocals for three songs on my forthcoming album (The Mike Stufflake Project) and also co-wrote one of them. His astonishing vocal skills and magic touch really breathed life into the production. I highly recommend the services of Eric and Ad Hoc Recording Studio.

“ I am completely satisfied with Eric Troyer's studio services. Eric's addition of stunning harmonies, backing vocals, and keyboards, including strings, piano, and keyboard solos, took my project to a whole new level. His input and arrangements, in particular, significantly transformed the outcome of my album, breathing new life into the songs. Eric's easygoing nature, quick revisions, and open communication channels, including zoom meetings, phone calls, emails, and texts, made the entire process a pleasure. Working with Eric was a true delight! " (aka Johnny Rock)
